Following your gut is for the brave and consider Rachel Brennecke the bravest. Under the name Bon Jane, the skilled performance artist has created compelling pieces using her skills in photography, directing and filmmaking. With a BFA from the Rietveld Academie in Netherlands, the American born creator now resides and works out of her Brooklyn studio. Relying heavily on her instinctual emotions she creates impactful work that allows her feelings to transcend onto her viewers. Spending years working under industry greats such as Peter Beard, Mark Seliger, and Gilles Bensimon her skillset is tremendous, refined and sometimes controversial. She’s even performed with Marina Abramovic in her iconic MoMa exhibition “The Artist is Present”.

This week's location shoot for Precious 7 - The Siwanoy Indians used it as a fishing camp and called it Monakewego –" shining sands". Purchased by Daniel Patrick and Robert and Elizabeth Feake in 1640 (along with the rest of what is now Old Greenwich), it became known as Elizabeth’s Neck. A member of the Ferris family bought the land in 1730, where it remained for more than 150 years.

The perfect home for a free spirit, this industrial structure serves as a modern nest amidst a beautiful forest. With only glass walls separating the interior from the exterior, the lines between man and nature are blurred, creating an organic harmony. Standing on metal pillars that resemble the surrounding tree trunks, it is as if the structure grew on its own.
