Under the name Bon Jane, the skilled performance artist has created compelling pieces using her skills in photography, directing and filmmaking. With a BFA from the Rietveld Academie in Netherlands, the American born creator now resides and works out of her Brooklyn studio. Relying heavily on her instinctual emotions she creates impactful work that allows her feelings to transcend onto her viewers. Spending years working under industry greats such as Peter Beard, Mark Seliger, and Gilles Bensimon her skillset is tremendous, refined and sometimes controversial. She’s even performed with Marina Abramovic in her iconic MoMa exhibition “The Artist is Present”.
